About the Opportunity

Septic Systems Australia is now looking for a full-time Servicing Administration Assistant to join it's team in Kilsyth, Melbourne.

You will be responsible for a wide range of general administration and office management tasks, including responding to incoming calls or emails and helping with non-technical enquiries. You will assist with providing quotes, scheduling Service Technicians and Drivers and renewing customer contacts, while delivering outstanding customer service.

You will be supporting various teams as needed and will report to the relevant team leader. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Answer phones and manage customer enquiries;
  • Send and renew contracts and service agreements;
  • Report on service contracts;
  • Provide basic quotes (from an established price list);
  • Debtor management;
  • Data entry/records management; and
  • Monitoring and ordering office supplies.

About You

The ideal candidates will possess some demonstrated administration experience, ideally in a trade or services related role, although this is not essential.

You must be highly organised and efficient with the ability to juggle competing priorities, meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will need to demonstrate a high degree of initiative and be comfortable working autonomously, making decisions and dealing with ambiguity, whilst not being afraid to ask questions when needed.

Importantly, you will maintain a positive, can-do attitude and bring an enthusiastic energy to all duties. You must be willing to help out wherever needed, demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills and work collaboratively as part of a diverse and multidisciplinary team. You will need to provide friendly and timely responses to enquiries and also be confident in your ability to handle occasionally difficult conversations in an assertive yet calm and respectful manner.

You will need strong computer literacy skills, with demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office suite, and be capable of quickly learning other relevant software. Any experience in a sales support role, or with CRM databases, would be highly regarded.

In return for your hard work and dedication, successful applicants will be rewarded with an attractive salary circa $55,000 - $65,000 (negotiable depending on your skills and experience) plus superannuation!
